The concept behind this project is a glove made to resemble the skeletal system of the pectoral fin of a dolphin. Scientists say that the first living organisms lived in the oceans, and we as a species evolved from these marine creatures to the point of becoming land dwellers. Dolphins and whales, however, are mammals that have evolved even further and have gone back into the oceans. This glove is an attempt to illustrate how we can see the story of evolution through the similarities and differences our own hands share with the pectoral fin of a dolphin.
